7 tips for you to be more productive on Windows 10

In times of pandemic, many of us have used the home PC to work or study. With Windows 10, the Microsoft intended to create a more intelligent system, which notifies the user of everything that happens on the machine. However, on some occasions, these notifications can hinder your income. Fortunately, the OS itself is equipped with features that can help you stay focused and perform some tasks more quickly.

Check out seven tips to become more productive using Windows 10!

1. Activate the Focus Wizard

You can use the focus assistant so that the system only sends notifications for the desired apps. To do this, follow the steps:

2. By clicking on “Customize your priority list”, you can make fine adjustments to what you want to be notified by adding or removing applications;

3. In “Automatic rules”, you can enable the option “During these hours”;

2. Insert symbols and emojis quickly

If you need to insert symbols and emojis in a given application, just press the Windows key +. (Score).

3. Use quick search

If you press the Windows key + S, it will open the system’s quick search, which allows you to search the PC and the internet. This feature also provides easy access to recent activities.

4. Split the screen and use multiple apps at the same time

You can use up to four applications at the same time, dividing your PC screen. To do this, just click and hold on the top bar of a program, and then drag it to one of the sides (or corners) of the screen.

5. Activate the Clipboard

The Clipboard is a memory where all the last items you copied are saved with the command to copy the shortcut Control + C. Enable it by opening the “Settings”, clicking on “System” and then on “Clipboard”.

To use the function, just press the Windows key + V, and the available options will be displayed.

6. Use Snip & Sketch

Snip & Sketch is a tool for taking full-screen screenshots with features. You can capture a part of the screen, an entire window, the entire desktop, and still have the possibility to make notes and other adjustments.

To start using it, look for Snip & Sketch in the Start menu. You can still open the tool whenever you press the Print Screen on the keyboard. To do this, open the “Settings”, access “Access facilities”, choose “Keyboard” and enable the “Shortcut Print Screen” option.

7. Explore the possibilities of the Calculator

The Windows 10 Calculator is full of advanced features. By clicking on the menu on the left, you will see several usage patterns, such as scientific and programmer, in addition to the measurement converter.
