A Silent Place: Part II teaser attached to Black Christmas screenings
Just a few months away from the long-awaited A Quiet Place: Part II hit theaters and Paramount Pictures surprised fans of horror as they saw Blumhouse's Black Christmas remake this weekend when they released a first exclusive teaser for 20 seconds for the post-apocalyptic holiday slasher sequence, according to Screen Rant.

From director Sophia Takal (Always Shine) of the script she wrote with April Wolfe (Widower), comes a bold new version of the 1974 horror classic starring Imogen Poots (Green Room, The Art of Defense), Aleyse Shannon (Charmed). , Brittany O'Grady (Star), Lily Donoghue (The Goldbergs, Jane the Virgin), Caleb Eberhardt (Broadway Choir) and Cary Elwes.

Black Christmas is produced by Jason Blum (Halloween, Split) for his Blumhouse Productions, Ben Cosgrove (The Good German, Rumor Has It) and Adam Hendricks (Cam, Bloodline, Lucky) for Divide / Conquer. Hendricks partners in Divide / Conquer, Greg Gilreath (Cam, Bloodline) and Zac Locke (Adopt a Highway, Bloodline) will be the executive producers.
Djimon Hounsou, whose upcoming credits include Charlie's Angels, The King's Man and the TV series What If … ?, recently joined the cast to replace Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta). Emily Blunt is returning to A Quiet Place 2, alongside cast members Noah Jupe (Suburbicon, Wonder) and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck), with John Krasinski ready to write and direct again. Golden Globe nominee Cillian Murphy (Pluto Breakfast) and Brian Tyree Henry (Child's Play) will also star in the sequel, which is due for release on March 20, 2020.
A Quiet Place premiered in theaters in April 2018 and grossed over $ 334 million worldwide with a budget of $ 17 million.

Quiet Place is produced by Michael Bay (Transformers) and his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller (Ouija, The Purge, Chainsaw Massacre) from a screenplay by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck that was rewritten by Krasinski.
Black Christmas is now in theaters and A Quiet Place: Part II will hit theaters on March 20, 2020!
