Lisey's story was inspired by King's own experience when he was involved in a serious accident in June 1999. The idea of ​​the novel came from a sudden realization that he had when he returned from the hospital and saw that all his belongings were in boxes. . Fast and Furious fans will remember Kang for his role as Han, the ill-fated street racer who met his death at the hands of Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw. The actor also appeared on the television series Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I. and Whiskey Cavlier.
