The series, which is being directed and produced by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians), is inspired by the life of 11-year-old Hilde Lysiak, and will follow the young woman as she moves to a small town by the lake with her . family and discovers a cold case that the city and his father worked hard to keep buried.
