New gameplay details for Ghost of Tsushima revealed
According PSLS, new details about the long-awaited Ghost of Tsushima video game were revealed in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine. The Sucker Punch title will have no waypoints, for example, which will allow players to navigate the island of Tsushima in a more realistic way.
An excerpt from the magazine explained: “Again waving realistically, you explore the island's lush environments without the help of landmarks, choosing where to explore next using landmarks and your knowledge of the world. Sucker Punch is no stranger to creating open worlds, but the very minimalist nature of the environments is a starting point for the developer. The time in the story will pass as you explore, with the titles telling you how much time has passed since the invasion began. "

In addition, the strength of a side character's or ally's bond with Jin will be based solely on the player's choice. For example, if a disagreement with an ex-ally gets too hot between them and Jin, the situation could end in trade.
The preview also meant that Mongolian camps and castles occupied by Mongols could be infiltrated by players stealthily or with a full action approach; Jin will be able to enter and leave these areas undetected (if a player chooses the stealth route) with the help of tools such as hooks and sticky arrows.
Apparently, Ghost of Tsushima will begin with the attack of the Mongol empire on the island of Tsushima. During the adventure, the on-screen titles will tell players how much time has passed since the invasion. Time will also pass as players explore the open world.
The action and adventure title from Sucker Punch Productions takes place in 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan, until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades Tsushima Island, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But honorable tactics will not lead you to victory. You must go beyond your samurai traditions to create a new way of fighting – the Ghost way – while you fight an unconventional war for freedom in Japan.
