Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 4 Recap
In the previous episode of Cartoon Network, Rick and MortyRick used elaborate robberies to discourage Morty's Netflix movie. In episode 4 of season four of Rick and Morty, Morty demanded a dragon from Rick in exchange for an adventure.
Morty took Rick a purple Ultimate Cube, but Rick was disappointed to be like what he already had. When they returned home, Morty reminded Rick that he had promised Morty a dragon. Even after a hard landing in Malta, Morty didn't move on, so Rick got a wizard to bring him a dragon. Through a contract and marriage ceremony, Morty and the dragon, Balthromaw, were bound to the soul. The wizard left him with a magic tome to help him with the dragon.
After having fun riding Balthromaw, Morty let him doze off in his treasure under the house. Unfortunately, it interrupted the imitation of Bones that Summer and Rick were watching. Rick overcame the dragon with science, but became interested in the random treasure items he owned. They went out and got together together.
While they were together, Rick and Balthromaw joined. Morty and Summer appeared while this was happening. Disgusted, Morty tore the contract, which summoned the wizard. After learning what happened, the wizard whipped Balthromaw and brought him back to his world for punishment. Unfortunately, Rick's scientific breakthroughs didn't work there, and the wizard created a golem to attack him. Morty used the book the wizard gave him to stop the golem. Rick created a device that took advantage and unleashed magic and went to the magician and Balthromaw, who were hanged.
It took many years for a dragon to hang, so Rick, Summer, and Morty escaped with it. They found others convicted of being vagabond dragons in their sex cave. Now, with ten of them there, they were able to unite with the soul and create a dragon strong enough to defeat the wizard. The gigantic soul-bound orgy disgusted Morty enough to let the dragon go.
Jerry confirmed with Rick that the talking cat in his bed was not his. The cat convinced him to fly to Florida. He wanted people to stop asking why he could talk and have fun. A girl stepped on her poop and Jerry was blamed for it. Without Jerry, the talking cat annoyed the other partygoers, and they threw him off the yacht.
Rick picked them up and arrested the talking cat so he could examine his brain. The reason he could speak was so gross that Rick cleared Jerry's mind. At the end of the episode, the talking cat met Balthromaw after a man had proposed it.
