Saba car parks now have electric charging stations

by ace

Saba customers will have special conditions to use the new electric charging stations through the EDP Comercial electric mobility card, under this new partnership. The agreement announced today provides for the installation of 50 points, in 14 parks and ten cities in the country, connected to the public network MOBI.E and which are available to any driver of electric vehicles.

In terms of dates, the first equipment will start to be installed from August and more than half of the installations must be completed before the end of the year. Each park will have at least two charging points, announces the press release. The agreement allows EDP Comercial to increase to more than 250 the number of charging points contracted and which will be connected to the public network.

Saba has invested in intermobility, offering the service of car sharing, scooters and electric bicycles and describes itself as having a vision of parking in a sustainable service hub logic.

Customers with monthly covenants at Saba’s parks will be able to enjoy special conditions for electric charging through EDP Comercial’s CEME card. The company announces that it has already issued more than 21 thousand of these cards, having carried out more than 95 thousand top-ups and that allowed to load more than 1200 MWh of energy and avoid the emission of more than 827 tons of CO2.
