Supermassive Games debuted the first full reveal trailer for the long-awaited second installment of The Dark Pictures horror game anthology, Little Hope, starring Will Poulter (Midsommar) in the second chapter. The scary trailer can be seen in the player below!
Abandoned and alone, four university students and their teacher are stranded in an isolated city, miles from anywhere, after their bus crashes due to bad weather. Trapped by a mysterious fog in the town of Little Hope, they desperately seek a means of escape, while visions of the past chase them from the shadows.
In addition to Poulter, the Little Hope cast includes the return of Pip Torrens as the all-seeing Curator narrating the story and guiding players through their decisions, with other newcomers, including Ellen Davis (Goon), Scott Haining (The Innocents) and David Smith (coronation street).
The Dark Pictures Anthology started with the 2019 ocean story, Man of Medan, starring Shawn Ashmore (Quantum Break), which received generally favorable reviews from critics and fans and was nominated for Best Multiplayer Game at the 2019 Golden Joystick Awards and sold quite well, just short of the survival horror of Supermassive in 2015, Until Dawn, released with the PlayStation 4.
