Watchmen final season promo: See how they fly

HBO has released the first promotion for the upcoming episode of Watchmen and season eight and the first episode of the season, titled "See How They Fly", sparking the imminent end as the clock progresses on time. Directed by Frederick E.O. Toye, from a script co-written by Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse, the final episode is set for December 15th. Check out the video on the player below!

Set in an alternate story where "superheroes" are treated as bad guys, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel as it tries to break new ground. Originally published as a 12-issue miniseries from 1986, Watchmen quickly becomes one of the most acclaimed stories in sequential art. The original story focuses on a murder mystery before unfolding into a planet-altering conspiracy that finally asks where the fine line is drawn between heroes and villains. The series consists of a cast that includes Jeremy Irons (Justice League) as Ozymandias older, Regina King (The Leftovers), Don Johnson (Free Django), Louis Gossett Jr. (Hap and Leonard), Tim Blake Nelson (Colossal ), Adelaide Clemens (Rectify), Andrew Howard (Bates Motel), Frances Fisher (Masters of Sex), Jacob Ming-Trent (Famous White), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Servant's Tale), Sara Vickers (The Crown) , Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow), Jean Smart (Fargo) as a mysterious FBI agent, and James Wolk (Zoo, Tell Me a Story).

Lindelof serves as creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer of the Watchmen series, with Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams and Joseph Iberti also executive producers. Nicole Kassell will be executive producer and direct the pilot. The series is from Lindelof's white rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television and is based on the characters from DC Comics.
